Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

order2wear is a product owned and operated by Vikavasri Ventures Private Limited ("Vikavasri Ventures", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when tailoring shops, boutiques, home-based tailors ("Shop Owners") and their customers ("End Customers") use order2wear, including via WhatsApp.

2. Information we collect

Account information: shop name, owner name, mobile number, email, business address, and GSTIN (if provided).
Order data: garment details, fabric notes, reference images, trial and delivery dates.
Measurement data: body measurements provided by Shop Owners on behalf of their End Customers, stored against a customer profile.
Payment data: order amounts, advances, balances, and UPI transaction references. We do not store full payment instrument details (e.g. card numbers or UPI PINs) — these are handled by our RBI-regulated payment gateway partners.
Communication data: messages exchanged through the WhatsApp Business Platform in connection with an order, to the extent needed to provide the service.
Usage & device data: log data, IP address, device/browser type, and app usage patterns, collected automatically.

3. How we use this information

To provide the core service: order management, measurement storage, delivery reminders, and payment reconciliation.
To send transactional WhatsApp/SMS/email notifications related to an order.
To generate the Shop Owner's own reconciled ledger and reports.
To detect fraud, prevent misuse, and maintain the security of the platform.
To comply with applicable law, including tax and accounting record-keeping requirements.
With consent, to send product updates or promotional communication, which can be opted out of at any time.

4. Measurement & personal data of End Customers

Body measurements are entered by the Shop Owner, who acts as the data controller for their own customers' data; Vikavasri Ventures acts as a data processor providing the storage and workflow tooling. Shop Owners are responsible for obtaining any consent needed from their End Customers to record and store this information within order2wear.

5. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with:

Meta/WhatsApp Business Platform, to deliver messages as part of the core service.
RBI-licensed payment gateway and UPI partners, to process payments.
Cloud infrastructure and analytics sub-processors, under contractual confidentiality obligations, solely to operate the service.
Law enforcement or regulators, where legally required to do so.

6. Data storage & security

Data is stored on cloud servers located in India where offered by our infrastructure provider, protected using encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention

We retain order, measurement, and payment records for as long as the Shop Owner's account is active, and thereafter for a period required to meet accounting, tax, and legal obligations under Indian law (generally up to 8 years for financial records), after which data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent for optional communications at any time. Requests can be sent to the contact details below; we will respond within a reasonable timeframe, generally within 30 days.

9. Cookies & tracking

Our website and web app use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

10. Children's data

order2wear is intended for business use by adults operating a tailoring or boutique business. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 as account holders.

11. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, the Grievance Officer for order2wear can be reached at grievance@order2wear.in.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the app, WhatsApp, or email, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly.
